Awkwafina

Awkwafina was an American actor and musician. She began by releasing hilarious, intelligently composed music that tackled topics like race as well as sexuality. Later, she broadened her fan base to Hollywood. Nora Lum was born to Chinese Koreans living in Forest Hills Queens. Her first exposure to music was via the trumpet. Additionally, she was given the classical and jazz education later when she began to explore hip-hop as a teenager. Following a focus on education, she was awarded a degree in journalism in college and a women's studies major. It wasn't until she began focusing on music until the time she finished her studies. Her track in 2012 My Vag a response to Mickey Avalon's My Dick found viral success on the Internet and was later released on her debut album Yellow Ranger in 2014. This album also featured songs that were viral such as body positive Queef or the winking city tour New York Bitche$. The third track was linked to Awkwafina's NYC Travel Guide that was published in the year 2015, and was a different initiative. With musician and author as her credentials, she set her sights on a third endeavor actor. Apart from early series such as Girl Code and Tawk she was also in films like Neighbors 2, Storks and Bad Rap. In the year 2018, she was offered several breakthrough roles, such as Dude Ocean's Eight or Crazy Rich Asians. That June she issued the EP In Fina We Trust.
